Adult Taster Classes at Clapham Pottery

Clapham Pottery runs classes for those wanting an introduction to pottery techniques; either a complete beginners  class to give an insight into working with clay or a dedicated throwing class to learn to throw or to improve your throwing skills.

All classes are taught by professional potters with an assistant tutor also on hand.

Please note:

Our courses run for 10 weeks with a 1 week break over half term.

Course dates: 22nd April – 7th July  Half term break: 27th May – 2nd June

Hand Building & Throwing Beginner’s Sunday Taster:
Sundays, 1.00 pm – 4.00 pm
These single sessions are suitable for beginners and include an introduction to hand-building and throwing.
£78 per individual session.

Throwing Sunday Taster:
Sundays, 1.00 pm – 4.00 pm
These single sessions are suitable for beginners and those with some experience, throwing only.
£78 per session

Intensive Throwing Course (4 consecutive nights):
Monday – Thursday, 6.30 – 9.00 pm
These are held at the end of our 10-week terms and are suitable for all abilities.
£168 for the course.
