Pottery Classes

Pottery classes are for all abilities. In every class, you are taught by trained pottery teachers to work through the process of making your own pieces.

As an advanced student, you are encouraged and assisted to realize your own ideas in any of the techniques.

Tutors guide students through the various techniques of handmade pottery, which includes:

  • Coil pottery
  • Hand and slab building
  • Throwing on the wheel

Day Classes

Tuesday – 11.00 – 1.00pm
Tuesday – 1.30 – 3.30pm
Wednesday – 10.00 – 12.00pm
Wednesday – 1.00 – 3.00pm
Thursday – 10.00 – 12.00pm
£160.00 for 10 week term
£120.00 concession for 67+
(These classes only)
There is a small levy placed on all pots before they go into the kilns. This is to ensure they are wanted and to minimise any waste of electrical energy.

Evening Classes

Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday
7.00-9.00pm
£160.00 for 10 week term
Thursday
7.30-9.30pm
£160.00 for 10 week term
