What we do

We run classes for the whole community. Those who can afford to pay do so and for those who can’t we seek alternative funding.

Over the last 10 years we have run a wide range of successful and popular funded classes including:

  • Saturday Kids – for children from low income backgrounds
  • Young Carers – giving carers aged 5-14 much needed respite time
  • Isolated Elderly – a social activity and a new skill for those age 70+
  • Homeless Persons – giving respite from otherwise chaotic lives
  • Young Adults with Compound Needs

What you can do to help

Donate
Every donation we receive helps us provide classes for those who need a helping hand.

Fundraise
Are you thinking of taking part in a sponsored event such as run or bike ride – why not raise funds for Clapham Pottery?

If you would like to find out more about our charitable work, or would like to make a donation, please contact our Administrator: administrator@www.claphampottery.co.uk or call 020 7622 0681.

Clapham Pottery is very pleased to have received funding for our various projects from the Sir Halley Stewart Trust, The Macquarie Foundation, The Woodward Trust, Clapham Manor and Larkhall Collaborative, Help a Capital Child, The Clapham Relief Fund, The Cooperative Group, Cecily Northcote Trust and Thomas’s Schools Foundation.

Dame Vivienne Westwood, a great character, seething with creativity and a genuine rebel with very many causes.  She was a wonderful supporter of Clapham Pottery enabling us to broaden our remit and to encourage many disadvantaged people to join us.  One of our number is planning to make a sculpture of her as a special tribute.
